Soil Land Food runs a number of 2 and 4 day courses to help landholders and farmer to build management skills in a range of topics. We run these courses throughout Australia on demand. We generally run the courses in blocks of 2 days. Our team is experienced and qualified in adult training as well in as agriculture, soils and land management. We also partner with a range of leading scientists and farmers to help deliver innovative rural training activities for landholders. Our training is always fun, up to date and designed to build real skills in the participants. Some of our courses are registered with the NSW Rural Assistance Authority. NSW Primary Producers are eligible for a subsidy on registered courses. Contact us for more details or to discuss customising a course for your group.

The “Planning you farm landscape” course really brings together and explains all the different functioning systems and how interrelated everything is. David and Bruce explain some very complex and innovative systems, but they do this with a very clear process that enables participants to engage, understand and relate the information back to their own circumstances. I could see the spark in everyone’s eyes from start to finish. This was an excellent course. David’s extension skills are second to none. He is able to tune into a group and quickly establish a positive learning environment. He draws on his extensive technical knowledge and experience to provide accurate and relevant information. And people seem to really dig him! Haha! People respond readily to his approach and we always receive such positive feedback about how informative, useful, interesting his workshops are. Soils are so fundamentally vital in a healthy landscape. He gets people interested, engaged and keen to learn.
